WHO WE ARE
ANIMAS is a non-profitable organization (NGO), formed in MALAYSIA year 2001. It was officially registered by the Registrar of Societies in 2007. The members of this association consist of practitioners, activists and 2D, 3D animation enthusiasts as well as various animated genre and visual graphics. ANIMAS has a clear objective to promote the animation industry with creating local animation that can affect the local and international market.

A)ORDINARY MEMBER
Membership is open to all Malaysia citizens, 18 years old and
above who are involved in the animation industry in Malaysia
A SUDENT from university or College cannot be accepted as member without written permission from the University Vice Chancellors.
B) ASSOCIATE MEMBER (Ahli Bersekutu)
Associate members are Malaysian animation fan aged 18 and
above. They are not allowed to vote in the AGM.
C) CORPORATE MEMBER
(Ahli Korporat / Ahli Syarikat Animasi)
Membership is open to legitimate companies in Malaysia involved
in the animation industry. Members can only register 2 (two)
representatives in the AGM and and are authorized 1 (one) vote.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
It is also the intention of ANIMAS to encourage the community to be knowledgeable about local animation arts as well as a clear understanding of the responsibility of respecting the work and copyright of an animated work.
With the outline of various activities and programs planned and organized, it is hoped that the objectives and goals are right on target and meet the aspirations, in accordance with the spirit of lifting local culture and creativity.

The members of the ANIMAS Committee consist of various backgrounds in the animation industry, namely producers, directors, animation artists, educators and career skills mentors. The AGM is held annually and the election of the committee is done by voting in the AGM.
